Bionic Glove Technology

Bionic and The Rose Gardener understand how painful arthritis can be when you want and need to use your hands for activities you love. Bionic gloves were developed by Louisville Slugger in conjunction with an orthopedic hand surgeon to provide extra support and mild compression to help reduce pain and discomfort from swollen and sore joints.

Bionic Gloves are ideal for gardeners, arthritis sufferers and those with hand aches from overuse. Rose gauntlet gloves, and Tough Pro work gloves were tested by the National Arthritis Foundation and awarded their Ease of Use Commendation when first introduced.

The glove with the backing of science

Designed by a leading orthopedic hand surgeon, Bionic technology is totally unique in the marketplace. There is nothing like it. The difference is found in the design based on the anatomy of the hand and the science of ergonomics. Here are a few notable examples:

The anatomy:

The hand has natural peaks and valleys determined by the bones in the hand. The high points of the bone rub against tools and equipment and cause blisters, calluses and hand fatigue.

The ergonomic solution:

Strategically-placed pads on the glove eliminate the peaks and valleys and even the surface of the hand.

The advantage:

Bionic improves grip strength, without the need to grip harder, and reduces hand fatigue. Plus, friction causing blisters and calluses is virtually eliminated.
